The River Breeze Vacation Home overlooking the Siuslaw River is located half a mile east of Florence on a quiet cul-de-sac off of route 126. With the marina just a minute away, bring your boats and fishing poles and have a fantastic time at fishing for that elusive steel head. With low tide, a short walk to the river brings you to the clam beds where you can dig for razor clams as well as explore the estuary. For those who love the sand, bring your quads and ATVs to the sand dunes just a couple minutes south of town. Visit Old Town Florence and explore the wonderful bistros, restaurants, galleries, and shops along Bay Street. Just a few minutes north along the coast and you’ll find fun in the sun and surf at the fabulous Heceta Beach and of course don’t forget to visit the world famous and most photographed Heceta Head Lighthouse as well as the Sea Lion Caves! Step out on the spacious deck and enjoy your morning coffee while experiencing a spectacular sunrise over the bay and estuary. Stepping down to the veranda, there is plenty of room to enjoy your meals outside as well as BBQ your favorite steaks and seafood with the charcoal grill. Enjoy the array of boats and fishing vessels making their way up the jetty to the mighty Pacific Ocean or perhaps the local fisherman trolling for that prized Salmon or Steel Head. The local wildlife is no stranger to the bay. Catch breathtaking views of Herons, King Fishers and Eagles showing off their fishing skills as well as Sand Pipers and Sea Gulls frolicking along the estuary. Catch spectacular sunsets of orange, pink and purple and the gentle reflections of the city lights when the day is done.
